Julianne Hough Is Our New Class' 'Triple Threat'
'Footloose' actress tells MTV News she emulates Reese Witherspoon.

Julianne Hough's résumé is so chock-full of accomplishments, it doesn't seem possible that one person could pack so much into 23 short years on the planet. In other words, unless you've been living under a rock, you've seen or heard the petite, talented entertainment dynamo on TV, the big screen or radio.
If you're a "Dancing With the Stars" fan, you know Hough from the fancy footwork she demonstrated as a professional dancer for four seasons, two of which she won with partners Helio Castroneves (in season four) and Apolo Ohno (in season five). If you're a country music fan, you might have noticed the Utah native being named the Top New Female Vocalist and Top New Artist at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2009.
Most recently, Hough has been dipping her toes into the world of movie acting. Her first big role was in 2010's "Burlesque" alongside Cher and Christina Aguilera, followed by a starring role in this fall's highly anticipated reboot of "Footloose."
Perhaps it's now easy to see why Hough has been named "Most Likely to be a Triple Threat" in MTV Movies' New Class. She can do it all, and by the look and sound of it, she's just getting started with an eventful career.
MTV News recently caught up with the superstar-in-the-making to see how she's juggling all her different career paths and what it means to be named to our New Class.
"Obviously, it never gets old. Every day, I am shocked and surprised and so excited that anybody would want to put me in any kind of list or category as up-and-comers," she admitted. "That's the dream. I've always wanted to do this and to be recognized for something that you always want, but it's so hard to even think you can achieve. It's pretty crazy; it's surreal. Thank you!"
With regard to whether she prefers being categorized as a dancer, actress or singer, Hough said she just wants to entertain, and is taking her cue from the multitalented stars of Hollywood's Golden Age.
"The actors and entertainers from early on — the '20s and '30s and '40s — they did everything: They were singers, they were actors, they were just entertainers. And people ask me, ... 'What do you like more, if you had to choose?' And I'm like, 'I don't want to choose!' I love all of them, and each fulfills something different inside of me."
When pressed to pick an actress' career she hopes to emulate, Hough revealed she has her eyes on another recognizable blonde's ambitions.
"Reese Witherspoon: As a young actress, she was so dramatic and did these really great roles, and then definitely moved up to be America's sweetheart, so I definitely watch her career and try to make some decisions like she has."
Look out for Hough as sassy free spirit Ariel Moore in "Footloose" and in the star-studded "Rock of Ages" next summer. The triple threat said her sophomore album will be out in the near future or "when it's really ready."

Holly Madison Insures Her Breasts for $1 Million?
Holly Madison is giving new meaning to the phrase "chest of gold." The 31-year-old former Girls Next Door and Dancing with the Stars contestant tells People that she recently took out a $1 million insurance policy on her breasts with Lloyd's of London. The reason: to protect her famous assets and those of the other performers in Peepshow, the Las Vegas topless burlesque show in which she's currently appearing.
"I've heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?" she says. "Because if anything happened to my boobs, I'd be out for a few months and I'd probably be out a million dollars. I thought I'd cover my assets."
The former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner isn't kidding. She appears topless during various segments of Peepshow, and thus really would be out of business if anything happened to her chest.
Madison has admitted to a previous breast augmentation that bumped her up from an A-cup to a D-cup. They are a huge investment and deserve to be protected, but that doesn't stop Madison from seeing the humor in the situation.
"I think it's kind of funny. I think they're getting the credit they deserve," she says. "They're my primary money makers right now."
That's not the only curvy part of Madison's body that she thinks deserves proper attention and care. Earlier this year she revealed to Life & Style that she has cellulite and is not concerned about it.
"I've always had a butt, and I want to keep it -- cellulite and all," Madison said. "I'm not perfect, but I love my curves."

The third day of testimony in the manslaughter trial against former Michael Jackson doctor Conrad Murray once again featured former members of Jackson's staff, bodyguard Alberto Alvarez and chef Kai Chase.
Alvarez took the stand first Thursday (September 29) to describe his arrival on the scene. He claimed when he entered the room, he saw Murray performing chest compressions on Jackson with one hand, and that when Murray heard Alvarez enter, he made the frantic request for Alvarez to remove several vials of propofol -- the potent anesthetic that was part of the official cause of Jackson's death -- from the room before he called for an ambulance.
Jackson's former personal chef was next to testify. After going through a list of the food items she prepared regularly for MJ and his children, mostly healthy meals like granola with almond milk and juice blends, Chase revealed that on the day of Jackson's death, she was in the middle of preparing his lunch when a worried and panic-stricken Murray burst into the kitchen and shouted for her to "get help, get [son] Prince and get security." Chase said she "did as she was told" and went into the den to alert Prince and that she did her best to keep the children calm.
Testimony is set to resume again Friday at 8:45 a.m. PT. Murray has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and administering the dose of propofol that caused Jackson's death and faces four years in prison and the loss of his medical license if found guilty.

Kandi Burruss Readies Her OWN BRAVO SHOW "The Kandi Factory"
Kim Zolciak isn't the only ATL Housewife getting a spinoff show. As we previously mentioned, Kandi Burruss is indeed set to kick off her very own show as well. And it has just been given the official greenlight from BRAVO.
Deets inside...
Last month, single mom Kandi had Bravo cameras in tow at her sex toy line launch in NYC...but they weren't the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cameras. So we figured she was getting her own spinoff.
And today, BRAVO confirmed that they have officially given the greenlight for "The Kandi Factory" starring, of course, Kandi Burruss herself.
The new special will follow “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and multi-platinum songwriter as she helps other artists reach their musical dreams. Ever since Kandi turned Kim Zolciak‘s single “Tardy for the Party” into a digital download phenomenon, she has been bombarded by thousands of wannabe artists desperate for her popstar secrets. So Kandi believes she can turn anyone with raw talent and drive into “something hot” and wants to give aspiring artists a shot at their dream.
According to Bravo, in the special, Kandi will give two protégés the opportunity to come to Atlanta and learn the fundamentals of pop music success. She has identified three factors that have to fit perfectly together to create a pop sensation: the song, the look and the performance. Then Kandi and her team of experts at The Kandi Factory will work with the two contestants in order to turn them into music superstars.
“With her breakout personality and straightforward attitude, Bravo fans have grown to love Kandi on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’” said Eli Lehrer, Vice President of Development for Bravo. “‘The Kandi Factory’ will capture a unique look at her successful music career as Kandi transforms two music hopefuls into the next big popstar.”
Will you be watching? P.S. Kandi's also switching gears with music and focusing on writing country hits for popular artist, JoDee Messina.
MTV Exclusive: Lady Gaga To Premiere Film At Paris Fashion Week
Singer will debut the film during the Mugler fashion show.

Lady Gaga in a tease for her short film

Lady Gaga is set to give her Little Monsters a big surprise at Paris Fashion Week next Wednesday. MTV News can exclusively announce that Mother Monster will debut a brand-new short film during the spring/summer 2012 fashion show for the Mugler Women's Wear Collection in Paris next week.
The film was directed by "Yoü and I" fashion-film directors and fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin under the creative direction of Nicola Formichetti, Mugler's creative director and Gaga's stylist.
The film will feature a previously-unreleased remix of one of Gaga's songs. For those not lucky enough to attend, a special edit of the film will drop the following day online. In an exclusive behind-the-scenes still, fans are teased with a peek at Gaga's face and her long, straight blond hair. In addition, starting Monday, Mugler.tumblr.com will feature live blogging from Mugler's Atelier.
While little is known about what the Haus of Gaga have up their sleeve for this latest film, the clapper board does reveal some hints. The date on the board is 09.20.2011, perhaps a hint as to when Gaga, Formichetti, and Inez and Vinoodh shot the video.
This isn't the first time Gaga and Mugler have collaborated in this way. Besides the fact that Formichetti is her stylist, she's also given fans brand-new music at his shows. In January, she debuted a remix of her Born This Way track "Scheiße" at a Mugler fashion show. Then in March, Gaga not only walked in a Mugler show, she also debuted her song "Government Hooker" during the same show.
Experts agree that the Mugler/Gaga relationship is one of the best in the business. "Gaga working with people like Nicola Formichetti has allowed designers like him and like the late Alexander McQueen to step out of the world of high fashion, which is often perceived of as elite, and become part of the mainstream music landscape as she's used high fashion to build her own personal musical narrative," MTV Buzzworthy blog editor Tamar Anitai said.
MTV Style blog editor Mary H.K. Choi calls their work together "a pop culture moment. ... I think we can all agree that Lady Gaga's relationship with Nicola Formichetti has been entirely synergistic," she said. "When she walked the Mugler runway in Paris last season, not only did she model with aplomb, but her debut of 'Government Hooker' galvanized the show as a pop culture moment. The clothing was beautiful, granted, very much the sexy, bombastic Mugler aesthetic of the '80s and early '90s, but the confluence of Gaga, her music and Formichetti — all streamed live on Facebook — made the collection a must-see event."

Scarlett Johansson knows she's a Hollywood celebrity, but that doesn't mean she's willing to forfeit her right to privacy.
The 26-year-old Iron Man 2 actress tells CNN that the nude pictures of her that were leaked online by a hacker on Sept. 15 are really none of anyone's business.
"Just because you're an actor or make films or whatever doesn't mean you're not entitled to your own personal privacy," she says in the interview. "If that is sieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong."
After the racy photos of her were leaked, Johansson reportedly enlisted help from the FBI to investigate the invasion of privacy. The ongoing case involves more than 50 alleged incidences of hacked celebrity email accounts and phone numbers. Law enforcement officials have yet to reveal any possible perpetrators.
Even though she's been acting professionally since she was in grade school, Johansson says that life in the spotlight still takes some getting used to on a daily basis.
"It's an adjustment, but I think there are certain instances where you give a lot of yourself and finally you have to kind of put your foot down and say, 'Oh wait, I'm taking it back.'"

Where Will Bruno Mars' 'Rain' Fall In 'Breaking Dawn'?
MTV News takes a closer listen to 'It Will Rain' for lyrical clues about its placement in the film.
By Jocelyn Vena and Amy Wilkinson

On Tuesday (September 27), Bruno Mars dropped the sweeping, heartbreaking "It Will Rain," the lead single from the "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" soundtrack, which drops November 8.
The Smeezingtons-produced song is all about the pain someone feels when they are deeply in love. On it, Mars croons tortured lines like "There's no religion that could save me/ No matter how long my knees are on the floor/ So keep in mind all the sacrifices I'm making/ To keep you by my side/ And keep you from walking out the door."
While Twilighters will have to wait until November 18 to find out where the song will be featured in the flick, there are several lyrical cues that offer hints. Hit play on the embedded video as we talk through the song, then read on for a deeper exploration.
The Wedding
Of course it won't appear in the actual wedding scene, like when Bella walks down the aisle, but lines like "I'll never be your mother's favorite/ Your daddy can't even look me in the eye/ If I was in their shoes I'd be doing the same/ Say, 'There goes my little girl/ Walking with that troublesome guy' " certainly mirror Charlie's feelings about the nuptials.
Jacob's Goodbye
When Mars sings, "Don't you say goodbye/ Don't you say goodbye/ I'll pick up these broken pieces till I'm bleeding/ If that'll make it right," it seems to mimic the heartbreak Jacob feels as he sees Bella marry another man and says goodbye to her once more.
The Honeymoon
Sure, the song is about heartbreak and pain, but the sexy, sultry nature of the track could make for the right kind of mood-setter as Bella and Edward finally get it on.
The Pregnancy
As Mars cries, " 'Cause there'll be no sunlight/If I lose you, baby/ There'll be no clear skies/ If I lose you, baby/ And just like the clouds, my eyes will do the same/ If you walk away, every day it'll rain," it mirrors Edward's angst as he thinks he might lose Bella if she has their child, a vampire/human hybrid.

Adele in her video for "Someone Like You"

Never mind the fact that, in person, Adele is so bubbly she's practically effervescent. When it comes to her albums, Adele is pain personified. Alone and adrift, brokenhearted and bitter — these are emotions we all feel, but rarely do we have the courage to express them like Adele does.
And nowhere on her 21 album is that more apparent than "Someone Like You," the stirring, somber closer in which Adele goes to visit a former love (with high hopes of a reconciliation), only to discover he has not only moved on with his life, but is in a much better place. And though she's heartbroken, she puts on a brave face, stubbornly proclaiming she'll find someone just like him, even if she knows that she never will. And that conclusion makes you ache not only because it's so daunting, but because it's so real. We've all felt that way, tried to trick ourselves into thinking that any other outcome was possible. In Adele's music, much like life, there are no happy endings.
"Someone Like You" was a natural choice for the next single from 21, and on Thursday (September 29), Adele premiered the video for the song — an equally somber affair that matches not only the song's emotional wallop, but its straightforward, downright crushing simplicity.
Shot in Paris, in the very early hours of the morning, it is little more than Adele wandering the deserted streets of the city, gazing longingly at the Seine, very nearly breaking into tears. Director Jake Nava made the smart decision to shoot it in arty, smudgy black-and-white, which only adds to the clip's desolate, haunted feel. In a lot of ways, as she drifts along, Adele is little more than a ghost, haunting the streets, destined to remain invisible to all, especially the one she wants to notice.
It's a lot like how everyone feels after heartbreak, and that's what makes the "Someone Like You" video so powerful. There are no special effects, no camera tricks or elaborate choreography, because those are quick fixes. Life doesn't operate that way, especially when the bottom falls out and we are all alone. Our days are endless, our hearts black, our skies are gray. And when it gets to that point, all we have is our pain, majestically, beautifully so. Thankfully, we also have Adele, and that sonorous, sorrowful voice of hers. Long live the Queen of Pain.

Twilight' Fan Christina Perri Pens 'A Love Song To Edward And Bella
Admitted 'Twi-Hard' is 'unbelievably honored' that 'A Thousand Years' made the 'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' soundtrack.

For any artist, getting a song on a "Twilight" soundtrack is a pretty big deal. But for Christina Perri, whose "A Thousand Years" made the cut for the upcoming "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" album, well, "pretty big deal" is an understatement.
Perri is — to put it mildly — rather obsessed with the series, as she told MTV News on Tuesday (September 27).
"Yes, I am 1,000 percent a 'Twilight' fan. I can't even deny that I am actually, in fact, a Twi-Hard and have a 'Twilight' tattoo," she laughed, also revealing that she's Team Edward. "I got a tattoo on my wrist that says 'bitten,' and it's written in the font of all the book titles. So, yes, I am of one the big, geeky fans."
For Perri, who already found success with her hit "Jar of Hearts," landing "Breaking Dawn" was a career-defining moment, not to mention a dream come true. Especially since, until the final track list was revealed Monday, she had no idea if her song made the cut.
"I'll never forget going to the screening of the movie. But, for me, having this opportunity is also such a wild card, because it's Hollywood, and you never really know. ... I wasn't even sure I was going to be on it until yesterday, when I saw it in print," she laughed. "So I tried not to get hyped out, because it's one of my favorite movies, one of my favorite books, one of my favorite soundtracks, and that could potentially freak out the little songwriter in me.
"So I tried to put that aside and take it one step at a time, went to see the movie and cried like a baby, because it's so good, and I felt so lucky to be there," she continued. "And then went home and wrote a love song to Edward and Bella ... and to have it be chosen, I'm unbelievably honored."
She wrote that love song based less on the screening she attended ("It wasn't finished," Perri said. "But I still cried. Seriously, that's how good it is") and more on the emotions she felt reading Stephenie Meyer's series ... in particular, the star-crossed love affair between Edward and Bella.
"When we went to watch the screening, they told us to see where there was temporary music added and just jump into those scenes a little harder," she explained. "But I'm fortunately a fan of the movie and the characters, and I feel like, by reading these books, I can step into that feeling that Edward and Bella have for each other. So [songwriter] David Hodges and I sat down, and it just came out in one afternoon. I feel like it was all meant to happen; I feel like it was all waiting inside me, waiting to come out."
While she doesn't know where "A Thousand Years" will be used in "Breaking Dawn," Perri said it's not all that important to her. She's just counting down the days until the film's premiere, when, finally, she'll get to hear her song on the big screen. And after that, all bets are off.
"For me, personally, this is one of my dreams coming true. And the fact that it's on the soundtrack, I'm seeing it, but I'm not sure I'm quite believing it," she said. "I have a feeling when I'm sitting in the theater with the cast, and the movie comes on and my song happens, that I'm probably at that moment either going to combust with excitement or finally believe it and probably cry a little."

We already knew about Bruno Mars' involvement in the upcoming "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack. But now — officially — we know who will be joining him.
Theophilus London, the Joy Formidable, Iron & Wine, Christina Perri and the Noisettes are just some of the acts confirmed for the "Dawn" soundtrack, which hits stores on November 8 (10 days before "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" bows in theaters). The full track list was unveiled Monday (September 26) afternoon on the official "Twilight" Twitter account, confirming speculations that sprung up over the weekend, when a listing of artists and songs began making the rounds on various fansites.
Work by "Twilight"-series composer Carter Burwell and actress Mia Maestro (she plays Carmen of the Denali Cover in the "Breaking Dawn" films) also shows up on the soundtrack, as do songs by Angus and Julia Young, the Features, the Belle Brigade and Cider Sky. All in all, there are 15 tracks on the album, and all — aside from a "Wedding Version" of Iron & Wine's "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" (as any good Twilighter will tell you, the original version of the song appeared on the first "Twilight" soundtrack) and an updated take on Noisettes' "Sister Rosetta" — are new.
The "Breaking Dawn" soundtrack follows in the footsteps of the ultra-successful 2008 "Twilight" 'track (which featured new songs from Paramore and Perry Farrell), '09's "New Moon" (which boasted a new track by Death Cab for Cutie and contributions from Thom Yorke and Lykke Li) and last year's "Eclipse," which packed in tunes from Muse, Florence and the Machine, Beck and Vampire Weekend.
The full track list for 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' soundtrack:
» The Joy Formidable, "Endtapes"
» Angus & Julia Stone, "Love Will Take You"
» Bruno Mars, "It Will Rain"
» Sleeping at Last, "Turning Page"
» The Features, "From Now On"
» Christina Perri, "A Thousand Years"
» Theophilus London, "Neighbors"
» The Belle Brigade, "I Didn't Mean It"
» Noisettes, "Sister Rosetta (2011 Version)"
» Cider Sky, "Northern Lights"
» Iron & Wine, "Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Wedding Version)"
» Imperial Mammoth, "Requiem on Water"
» Aqualung & Lucy Schwartz, "Cold"
» Mia Maestro, "Llovera"

As if the Twitter back-and-forth weren't enough to get fans excited for their Christmas-themed collaboration, MTV News now has photo evidence of Justin Bieber and Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockman in the studio together.
In the photo, both guys are seen looking casual in baseball caps and T-shirts. They shared a high-five in the studio, which was even decorated with Christmas lights.
The guys had a bit of a Twittermance post-session that had the veteran Boyz reminding the teen phenom to never forget the wisdom they shared with him. And whatever that advice was, it certainly made an impression on Bieber. "I'm not gonna forget. THANK U!!" he tweeted.
Bieber has a busy fall ahead of him. As he readies the release of his Christmas album, he's also getting ready to hit the road in South America and Mexico. "Back in the studio putting the finishing touches on this Christmas album and getting the tour stuff together," he tweeted.
The tour will kick off later this month in Mexico and will make its way around South America, including stops in Brazil and Argentina. He'll wrap up the stint at the end of October. He's pretty much off the road until December and January, when he has two stops planned in Illinois.
"Seeing all the love for the S AMERICAN fans ... tour is less than a month away. Who got tickets in BRAZIL? in Argentina? in Mexico? in Chile?" he tweeted.

For all the Lady Gaga and Cher fans out there who fainted at the news that two of pop music's biggest stars have teamed up on a soon-to-be released record, your wait is almost over!
Cher herself confirmed via Twitter back in August that we would hear "The Greatest Thing" sometime in September, and because the month is quickly coming to an end, we should only have a few more days to wait to hear the highly anticipated track.
To hold you over until the release, MTV News recently caught up with RedOne, the producer mastermind behind the soon-to-be hit, to find out how the song came to be and why everyone will love it.
"[Gaga and I] recorded the song a few years ago, and we were always in the studio enjoying that song. It's weird we never did anything with it," he said. "So I remember my management and Cher's management were trying to get us together, and I thought, 'Oh my God, I'd love to meet Cher, just to meet her!' And so I met her, I played her some songs, and I played her 'The Greatest Thing,' and she loved it. She said, 'This is my song,' I said, 'Yes, it's your song.' "
RedOne said he let Gaga know via text message, and she was ecstatic. Then, about a month later, Red received a text from Gaga that inspired an epic pairing.
"I cut the vocals with Cher first, and I was in Madrid and got a text from Gaga saying, 'I'm thinking about jumping on the song in the remix,' " he recalled. "I was like, 'No, you should jump on the original! Make it a duet.' She said, 'Oh yes, OK, absolutely,' and then I spoke to Cher, and it became a party.
"Everybody loved it," he added. "Gaga on it, Cher, two big icons, [they are] part of music history. So it happened. I'm very happy to be a part of this."
Of course, RedOne wouldn't reveal when we'll hear the track, only that it's coming soon.

Emma Watson, 'Perks' Co-Stars Do 'New Class' Boogie In Exclusive First Look
'I was waiting for this story, for this script, for this moment, for these people to do it with me,' Watson says of 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower.'

The post-"Harry Potter" education of Emma Watson began, in a way, at Brown University. Searching for her first film after completing the boy-wizard franchise, the Ivy League actress found some unlikely career advisors in the form of her fellow college students, who told her that she simply had to sign up for "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," an adaptation of Stephen Chbosky's seminal novel.
"Honestly, I had never read the book before, but a lot of my friends at Brown were hugely into it, and when I told them I had this script, they were crazy excited," Watson told MTV News.
And just that like, through the pop-culture schooling of her peers, she'd found a flick to carry her away from Hogwarts and toward a Hollywood second act. It's fitting, then, that with "Perks" on her résumé, we've selected Watson as a member of MTV News' New Class — actors and actresses about to graduate toward greatness. The 21-year-old finds herself in good company on the movie, whose cast contains so many soon-to-break-big talents that we selected a bunch of her co-stars as her New Class cohorts.
We've dubbed Watson "Most Likely to Win an Oscar." Nina Dobrev ("The Vampire Diaries") is our Next Style Icon. Logan Lerman ("Percy Jackson & the Olympians" and the upcoming "Three Musketeers") is Most Likely to Make You Swoon, and Ezra Miller (Sundance eye-opener "Another Happy Day" and Cannes selectee "We Need to Talk About Kevin") is Most Likely to Win an Independent Spirit Award. Together they're bringing a beloved teen novel to the screen. And when we visited the film's Pittsburgh set earlier this year, all four of them were well aware of the expectations surrounding the project and professed themselves lucky to be involved.
"I feel incredible about it. I feel like I've been waiting for 'Perks,' " Watson said. "I was waiting for this story, for this script, for this moment, for these people to do it with me. I'm so glad I didn't do anything that I didn't care about."
Watson plays Sam, a high school senior who, along with Miller's Patrick, introduces Lerman's freshman Charlie to a world of sex, drugs and awkward adolescence. "I definitely tapped into some awkward childhood memories for this movie," Lerman explained. "It's been a year and a half since I first signed on to the project, so to be out here making it is a pretty big deal for me. It's cool to be working with this great cast of young actors."
Dobrev, on a break from "Vampire Diaries," echoed those sentiments. "Every hiatus, my goal is to try something different, and this is a small part in a great, fun indie that has a great script," she said of playing Charlie's sister. "It's been fun to meet such great new people. Everyone really gets along and is really friendly and fun."
Their subject matter, it should be said, is not all fun or funny. When when we showed up on set the stars were filming a raucous school-dance sequence set to "Come on Eileen," but "Perks" takes on potentially controversial material about suicide, drug use and sexuality. These may be divisive topics to some, but ask any teen and he or she will say it's all part of their world.
"I don't think there will be one teenager who will watch this and not have one story or one moment that they don't deeply feel they can relate to," Watson said.

After much prodding by Stern about the possibility of a new female in his life, David caved, divulging that he's currently seeing Christina McLarty, a reporter for "Entertainment Tonight."

Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett Music Video Debuts Monday
'Lady Is a Tramp' clip is the second from Duets II, following 'Body and Soul' with the late Amy Winehouse.
By Jocelyn Vena
Tony Bennett just scored his first #1 album with Duets II, and now the legend is ready to drop another video from the collabo project.
On Monday, his video for "The Lady Is a Tramp" — with a blue-haired Lady Gaga by his side — will hit the Web. On the track, Gaga gets a little feisty with the 85-year-old. "I hate California, it's crowded and damp," the New York-native Gaga sings, before Bennett chimes in giggling, "That's why the lady is a tramp."
"My favorite is that Lady Gaga," Bennett gushed to MTV News at the Video Music Awards, where Gaga spent the night in character as her male alter ego, Jo Calderone. "She's the biggest. I'll tell you, I never met anyone with more talent than that lady."
Earlier this month, Bennett's "Body and Soul" video with the late Amy Winehouse debuted. The duo were filmed recording the song together, and the Gaga video will most likely follow suit. Other Duets II collaborations include John Mayer, Carrie Underwood and Mariah Carey, among others.
Riding high on his new wave of success — including first-week sales of 179,000 copies — Bennett said his career has always been incredibly cyclical. "I'm 85; I just want to tell you, it's a very strange situation," he said. "I always worked live, and ever since 1950, wherever I've played internationally I've been sold out all these years. It's amazing. So the public's been on my side all the time."

'ANTM' Recap: Season 17, Episode 3
We start off tonight's episode with a visit from Kristin Cavallari. This is apparently a thing people are excited about? I don't know. Her advice basically amounts to, "Haters gonna hate." Bre asks Kristin how you maintain longevity in your career without being a serial reality show contestant, which in this context seems quite ironic.
The girls head to The Grove, which is home to Extra. Nigel meets them and tells them that their challenge today will be to answer tough questions thrown at them by Peabody Award winner Mario Lopez. The ladies are split into two teams. Team one is Lisa, Laura, Alexandria, Isis, Dominique and Angelea. Team two is Bianca, Allison, Bre, Camille, Shannon, and Kayla. Whichever team better weathers the interview will be safe from elimination, and the individual winner will get the chance to be an Extra correspondent.

Between romantic dates in empty basketball arenas with boyfriend Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez has found some time to squeeze in a new gig: host of the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards.
Gomez, who got her hosting feet wet when she served as a special black-carpet correspondent at the 2011 MTV VMA pre-show in Los Angeles, will help celebrate the best in the world when the awards show touches down in Belfast, Ireland, at the Odyssey Arena on November 6.
"I'm so excited to be the host of the 2011 MTV EMA--it's a dream come true!" Gomez said a statement announcing her gig. "This is such a huge event that always recognizes the biggest stars in music from across the globe, so it's a real honour to be MC at this year's show."
Gomez has been on the road for the past few months promoting When the Sun Goes Down, the third album from her band, Selena Gomez and the Scene. Not only will she keep the action moving on the main stage at the EMA, but she will also tweet in the midst of the show and offer some behind-the-scenes dish on other social media platforms as the show is taking place.
Lady Gaga leads the EMA pack with six nominations, followed by Katy Perry and Bruno Mars with four and Adele, Justin Bieber and 30 Seconds to Mars with three. Other nominees include LMFAO, Beyoncé, Coldplay, Eminem, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, Kings of Leon, Linkin Park, Jennifer Lopez, Foo Fighters and Snoop Dogg.
