Nick Cannon Plans January 17th Return to Radio

After bring hospitalized last week with kidney failure, Nick Cannon has since been released from the medical facility and is recovering at home.

Of the positive progress, a rep told that ?[Cannon] was released over the weekend to be with his family. He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers.?

Not planning on taking much of a break, the spokesperson added that the 31-year-old will ?return to his live morning radio show broadcast ?Rollin? with Nick Cannon? on 92.3 NOW FM on January 17.?

As previously reported by GossipCenter, Cannon fell ill with kidney failure during a holiday trip to Aspen, Colorado, while having been transferred to a Los Angeles hospital following emergency surgery.

After the procedure, Nick tweeted, "Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. # OUCH."
