Pixar teases ?Toy Story? Hawaiian vacation short

Hollywoodnews.com: The toys are back ? in sunglasses and grass skirts!

We reported a few weeks back that Pixar?s upcoming sequel, ?Cars 2,? would be preceded by an original ?Toy Story? short film that features Woody, Buzz and several characters from the Oscar-nominated ?Toy Story 3? going on a ?Hawaiian Vacation.?

Entertainment Weekly scored the first look at the short film. Check out a few still from the clip here.

?Woody becomes kind of like what?s-his-name on ?Love Boat? ? Captain Stubing!? director Gary Rydstrom says of the clip. ?As toys who get played with all the time, they have a pretty good imagination. When it?s time for a little playacting, they?re good at it.?

?Cars 2? will be in theaters on June 24, 2011, so we?ll be able to see the full ?Toy Story? short soon enough.
