Matthew Morrison Accepts Jonah Hill Challenge

Matthew Morrison Accepts Jonah Hill Challenge

Challenge accepted! Matthew Morrison wants Jonah Hill to know that when you start a feud with a member of the musical theater crowd, you better be prepared to reap the whirlwind.

Last week, while on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote his new movie Moneyball, 27-year-old Hill regaled viewers with the hilarious tale of how he'd overheard the curly-haired Glee star using his name as a punchline at a "douchey Hollywood party." Hill then proceeded to taunt Morrison WWE-style, screaming that the actor "better bring his s***" next time they see each other and concluding that he'd love to see Matthew "sing his way out of this one."

Turns out Morrison, 32, is quite convinced that he can sing his way out of this powder keg of an imbroglio. Watch Matthew's hilarious video response below!

The video begins with Morrison recreating the tail end of the alleged "Jonah Hill" joke, but quickly segues into some heavy smack-talking. "You think I can't sing my way out of this? Well, guess what, Jonah -- I can sing my way out of it and I can dance my way out of it," he says, effortlessly dancing his way up and over a chair.

"So listen, Jonah. Pick a date, and I will meet you on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon -- and we will settle this like men," he continues. "But be afraid. Be very afraid... because nobody messes with someone from musical theater!"

To emphasize just how badass those Broadway folk can be, Morrison grabs a cane and busts out some of his signature "Singin' in the Rain"/"Umbrella" mashup dance moves.

He caps off the video by wagging a finger at the camera and saying, "This just got real." But then adds, more amiably: "Hey, can't wait to see Moneyball."

And, just in case you thought Morrison was joking about facing off against Hill on Late Night, host Jimmy Fallon insists that he will make it happen. "They're going to duke it out right here on Late Night -- or duel, or arm wrestle. I don't know what's gonna happen," he says. "We're going to figure out a date to get them both on here to squash this beef."

Until then, we'll just look forward to seeing who's better at bringing their s***.
